There is no doubt about the fact that good web designing plays an important role in attracting visitors o your site so here are some tips on how you can create a good first impression about the your site. These tips are applicable to both people who are revamping their site to improve the surfing experience that the site offers and for people who are designing a new site.

The loading time: This is a very important factor in establishing the popularity if a site; there is nothing more frustrating for the visitors than a site that takes several minutes to load just because it has so many graphics so this should be your number one concern After all, you cannot afford to forget that the internet is all about speed ,information and products at your finger tips so you simply cannot afford to have a slow loading site. Ask yourself how you reacted when you wee looking for something on Google and the first link that you click on did not load for a few minutes; the likely answer will be that you moved on to the second link and that is what your visitors will do as well.

Web gimmicks: Your visitors are on your site because they need information or intend t buy the products or services that you are offering by including meaningless and annoying web gimmicks you will just be driving them away; this particularly holds true about the landing page or the home age of your site; do not include anything irritating such as blaringly loud music, a overly slow loading flash animation etc, no pop up advertisements etc. In simple words, leave the gimmicks out to make the customers stay on.

A meaningless splash page: Nobody has the time or the inclination to watch a page that has a lot of impressive animation that foes not offer an iota of relevant information; once again it would be worth while to remember why your visitors are on your site. Also, your visitors will not appreciate being made to wait while the graphics load on the first page. It would be akin to going to a store to but a product and waiting in line to meet the hotshot sales men; most people would scamper in the opposite direction and that is exactly what your visitors will be inclined to do as well, so tread carefully here. Ensure that your homepage and landing page offer all the information hat your visitor might want to know about the company and a brief idea about the products and services that you offer.

The message should be very clear: The message that you are trying to convey to your visitors should be very clear; do not beat around the bush nor should you use high pressure sales tactics because this is a sure fire way to drive your customers away. This particularly holds true in case of blog pages; instead of using archaic difficulty to understand ideas and language, make it easy for your users o understand what you are trying to tell them.. Do not make them guess because this an be risky instead tell them quickly what they want to know so that they are happy; and when we are talking about a sales page a happy customer is also the customer who buys the product or services.

A coordinated design: This is pretty obvious, the design should work together as a whole, if you have every page with a unique navigation system or if the design varies for ever age, your customers are not going to like it. Your endeavor should be to make your customers feel comfortable not only wit the site design but also with the fact that you are a reputable organization and as such have taken the trouble to design a good site that offers al the information that the customer might need in the easiest possible away. The logo of your site should be consistent across all pages, and so should be the color scheme and the navigation system; all of these together create a coordinated design.
