Well done for making the decision to lose weight. I have created a list of 17 simple ways to lose weight. This should give you guidance and inspiration to choose the best method for you and reach your goals.

1) Drink Iced Water

When you drink iced water your body uses calories to heat the water back up to your body temperature. Do not drink excessive amounts of water though as it can damage your health. 2 Litres a day should be plenty and drink more when exercising.

2) Walk for 30 45 Minutes a Day

Your should do light exercise daily. This will ensure you burn off enough calories to reach your weight goals. Start slowly and build it up. After a few days you could try a light jog or even a run. Just remember not to overdo it.

3) Eat Small Meals 5 6 Times a Day

Eating 6 small meals a day will help you lose weight as your body will find it easier to burn off the calories and digest the food properly.

4) Find a Partner To Lose Weight With

Find a friend to lose weight with and you can motivate each other to reach the goals that you set for yourself.

5) Eat Slower

You should chew your food and eat slower to aid weight loss. This has been proven to help.

6) Eat Less

A simple but obvious one. If you eat less and exercise you can lose weight faster.

7) Drink Green Tea

Green tea will be a good alternative to normal tea when trying to lose weight.

8) Plan Your Meals

Failing to plan is like planning to fail when it comes to weight loss. If you do not plan your meals then you will find you end up buying and eating fast food and other bad choices.

9) Drink When You Feel Hungry

You may just be thirsty when you next feel hungry. Instead have a large glass of water and see how you feel.

10) Eat Fruit For Your Sugar Hit

A good alternative to sugary snacks is fruit. Fruit contains sugar that is naturally present.

11) Do Not Eat After 6pm

When you eat late your body does not have enough time to work it off, so eating before 6 is the best plan.

12) Buy Low fat Foods

There are many low fat foods in the supermarket that will help you lose the weight.

13) Count Your Calorie Intake

Count the amount of calories you consume each day. This will give you an idea of what to cut back on.

14) Keep a Journal

You can keep a journal of what you eat, when you eat it and how many calories were consumed.

15) Join a Gym

Join your local gym and hire a personal trainer to help you shed the pounds. Daily gym sessions is one of the things successful dieter engage in.

16) Use a Fat Binding Supplement

Fat binders can help, they absorb a certain amount of the fat that enters your body.

17) Use a Hoodia Product

Hoodia Gordonii is a south African plant that is thought to suppress your appetite and help you to eat less and therefore lose more weight
