The speed of nineteen inches per minute and maximum pouch thickness of 7mil is quite good for the price point of this laminator.
3. Fellowes Venus VL 125: Similar in many ways to the Jupiter, this is also a machine designed for larger office applications. The main differences between this laminator and the Jupiter are that the Venus has more heat settings at five plus, and the Venus can laminate pouches up to 10mil thick. The speed, width, and heat up time are the same as the Jupiter, meaning that this machine would be the better choice perhaps only if you find yourself needing to laminate thicker pouches.
4. Fellowes SPL 125: This is the king of the Fellowes line of pouch laminators. Designed for heavy duty and high volume large office or business use, the SPL 125 features an entry width of thirteen inches and a heat up time of three minutes. This laminator offers variable temperature settings (very handy for multiple projects), and the capacity to laminate documents with laminating pouches that are up to 10mil thick.
Though there are many laminators on the market, Fellowes seems to be truly making an effort to provide some features, such as the HeatGuard, that a lot of other companies don t. It also should be mentioned that the Fellowes machines come with a 2 year warranty, when the industry standard seems to be one year.
