What They Didn t Want You to Know About Network Marketing!

Network marketing has made itself a primary focus when individuals think of the words “home based business.”  While promoting a network marketing company from a desk in your house can be technically seen as a home based business, the reality is that it provides an incomplete perspective of what ownership really is, and an inaccurate picture of the investment and costs over time that ownership in a company truly provides.  The best way to start a venture like this is not by looking through network marketing organizations, but by determining FIRST what you love to do.  If you can turn your passion into your work, then you have created a fun environment to help meet the needs of others and make profits at the same time.

There isn’t anything wrong with being an independent contractor in network marketing.  The flaw is that there is typically a plan attached to it that uses another person’s motivation to determine what your home based business can produce, that really only creates primary profits for the owners of the company.  Because you cannot measure the drive, ambition, motivation, goals, stick to it tiveness or any other factor that will allow another person separate from you to produce profits, you cannot properly make money.  You end up selling dreams, hype, or a false idea of making money that doesn’t truly exist to other people who you want to motivate to sell, and not to customers.  If you choose to get into network marketing, make a home based business plan that is tailored around what you are able to produce on your own.

If you decide to create your own products and market them through your home based business, know that you are appealing to a particular niche market that is exclusively interested in what you are offering.  There are certain people who are interested in aromatherapy, candles, natural jams and jellies, and other things that you could make from your home.  It is good to focus on a particular demographic and network to appeal to that market in order to make your sales.  Otherwise, the idea that you will sell to everyone who has two arms and two legs with a wallet will only bring your home based business to a screeching hault.

You need to establish who exactly your target market is and come up with a Unique Selling Proposition. What defines you or your business, why should people do business with you over anyone else? What makes your business unique? These are all very important questions that you must have an answer to before starting a home based business of your own.

Home based business isn’t for every person, it takes a particular temperament to handle the stresses of selling based upon your own motivation.  If you are one of the people who can handle that stress with no problem, then you are welcome to be a part of the millions of others of individuals who find pride and pleasure in offering products and services to individuals around the world.
