I myself had a mentor when I entered Forex market five years ago; let s take a look at some of the reasons why you should consider a mentor.

The program should have a step by step plan that can be followed by anyone that meets their plan s requirements. In the world of the foreign exchange currency, you should expect no less from a Forex mentor.
Secondly, you should consider someone that can teach you how to spot the opportunities with lower risk. Since this is a monetary market that you are dealing with, there are always some risks involved. Even though some experts in stock market trading, and even business in general, will tell you that high risk also carries a potential reward, this is not the scenario you want in order to begin your trading career.
It is much better to find a safer route, even if it appears to be a lower return. This type of trading will allow you to learn more from your Forex mentor and also keep the two of you at ease with each other.
Third, you should consider learning from someone that can teach you proper trading habits as well as the discipline to trade consistently. This may sound similar to a fitness trainer, and in some ways it really is. You may possess excellent knowledge about nutritious food, when to eat, and the best way to prepare the food. You may even be perfect at executing the exercises that will ensure loss of fat and muscle building.
However, if you eat bad food and never exercise, you will not improve physically. Thus, you need to find that “drill sergeant” type of Forex Mentor who will push you to keep doing the right things to make money.
Finally, you want to move beyond the basics of the foreign currency trading and learn the more advanced techniques that will sustain you. Most people likely have the ability to learn some of the beginning steps that will allow them to make a modest amount of money in this trading market.
However, the higher level strategies that will allow you to earn a substantial income, not just once, but literally at your will and discretion will be the main ingredient that separates your time spent with a Forex mentor versus time spent reading a book, or watching an explanatory DVD.
