There are times when a rotary trimmer or guillotine paper cutter just won t, well, cut it. If you have a large cutting job that requires you to cut hundreds of pieces of paper, what you need is a stack cutter. Luckily, Dahle has some great stack cutters that can help you out. To learn about them, please continue reading.

* Stack Cutters. Dahle makes truly impressive devices that are capable of cutting anywhere from 200 to 700 sheets of paper at once. They can even chop through card stock because the blades are made from high quality Solingen steel that comes from Germany. These cutters can produce cuts as long as 18.5 inches, so they re perfect if you have a large cutting job to do. Each cutter can be used on a tabletop, although floor stands are also available. In fact, using the floor stand is preferable to just using the cutter on a table because the stand can help ensure you re getting the right amount of leverage when you cut. Each cutter has a measurement grid with both standard and metric measurements, and a paper clamp is included to help keep your work in the right place. There are three stack cutters available: the 842, 846, and 848. The 842 offers the lowest cutting capacity (200 sheets), but it has an adjustable backstop that makes it easy to do repetitive cutting. Meanwhile, the 846 and 848 both have self locking backstops, which is a great feature to have if you tend to cut continuously. Finally, all three Dahle stack cutters are high quality and feature a metal base that will be able to withstand years of use.

* Premium Stack Cutters. Dahle also manufactures two premium units: the 852 and 858. The 852 can cut up to 200 sheets of paper and handle items up to 17 inches long, plus it has an adjustable backstop. Meanwhile, the 858 can handle 700 sheets and 18.5 inch cuts, and comes with a spindle drive backstop that s self locking. These machines are truly premium in every sense of the word. One of the things that make these cutters stand out is that each unit has a laser that helps you get the most accurate cut possible. Meanwhile, an electronic display can guide your through the entire cutting process. These cutters have an ergonomic handle that helps make the machine safe and easy to use, plus each machine has an automatic cutting system that allows you to cut your paper quickly and accurately.

Finally, working with a stack cutter means you have to be very careful. Dahle realizes this and has given all of their stack paper cutters a great safety feature: the blade on each machine has safety covers on both sides, which means your limbs should never come in contact with it. When the covers are engaged, they won t allow the blade to move at all, so you can have a safe cutting experience every time you use a Dahle stack cutter.

If you need a stack cutter, Dahle might have the right machine for you. Their stack cutters are well made, durable, safe to use, and making the cutting process easy and enjoyable. Take a look at one today!
