If you ve recently purchased a Fellowes binding machine for your office, perhaps you re wondering what supplies you should use with your new device. If so, you ll be pleased to know that Fellowes actually makes some supplies that can be used in the creation of your very own booklets. All of these supplies are compatible with the various types of binding machines Fellowes makes, so whether you purchased a plastic comb, wire, or thermal device, there s bound to be some supplies that will work with your device. Let s take a short look at what s available.

* Plastic combs. These are an absolutely necessity if you ve chosen a plastic comb binding machine. Fellowes makes both round and oval combs (the oval ones are best for longer documents), and they come in three colors: white, black, and navy blue. A variety of sizes are available, too, so you re likely to find the right comb no matter if your document is short or long. (The largest comb is 2 inches wide and can bind up to 500 sheets.) Boxes of 25, 50, and 100 combs are available. You can use these supplies with devices such as the Starlet and Pulsar E comb binding machines

* Wire spines. Fellowes double loop wire spines are available in two colors (black and white) and can be used to bind with devices such as the Quasar wire binding machine. Wire spines are available in boxes of 25 and range in size from 1/4 (35 sheets) to 9/16 (100 sheets). These spines are durable and will make your documents look really sophisticated.

* Covers. When you re ready to put your book together, one of the last things you ll need to consider if what kind of cover to use. Fellowes will make that decision easy for you because they make several covers you can choose from. The covers they make are translucent (Futura and Crystals Clear), frosted (Futura Frosted), or matte (Grain and Linen), and can be extremely professional looking (Executive). CopyLux covers even allow you to create your own covers because they can be run through a photocopier or printer. These items are available for letter sized documents (some are slightly oversized) and they re perfect for your next batch of reports.

* Thermal binding covers. Thermal binding is a great way to produce professional looking books that will last a long time. It s also one of the easiest methods because all you need to do is drop your pages into a thermal cover and then place the entire thing on your machine, such as the TB450 or TB250. These thermal covers have a clear front and can hold up to 240 sheets

Finally, there are starter packs that contain a mix of both covers and spines/combs. If you re not sure what you need or if you want a variety of supplies, a starter pack can be a great choice. Some Fellowes machines even come with one of these packs so you can use your new device immediately.

If you re the proud owner of a Fellowes wire, thermal, or plastic comb binding machine, these supplies can really make the book making experience more enjoyable. Be sure to stock up on these great supplies today and get started!
