Small laminators offer a compact and easy solution if your office needs to laminate smaller items. These machines are made by such document finishing giants as Fellowes and GBC, and they can be used a wide number of items including I.D. badges, business cards, bookmarks, photographs, and luggage tags. These smaller documents can really benefit from lamination because if they re handled a lot (as in the case of I.D. cards), they ll last for a much longer time. If you ve been considering adding one of these devices to your office, we have four great laminators for smaller documents that you should really check out. Here they are....

1. The Fellowes EXL 45 2. This is one of Fellowes smallest laminators. It has a 4.5 inch feed opening so you can use it to laminate I.D. cards, bookmarks, and so on. You ll even be able to laminate photographs because this machine has a cold setting. (There are a total of three temperature settings.) This device will warm up in 5 minutes and it can laminate a document in 30 seconds. The maximum pouch thickness it can handle is 5 mil. The EXL 45 2 is outfitted with an automatic shut off to preserve the motor and conserve power.

2. The Tamerica LP 120. The LP 120 has a slightly smaller feed opening than the EXL 45 2: it s 4 wide as opposed to 4.5 . However, it can handle a full range of pouches, even ones that are 10 mil thick. It features all metal construction for ultimate durability. Plus, the temperature can be fully adjusted. However, it does lack a cold lamination setting, so keep that in mind if you anticipate laminating heat sensitive items.

3. The GBC HeatSeal H110. This laminator has a 4.5 inch feed opening and can handle 3 and 5 mil pouches. It will accept self sealing pouches due to its cold lamination feature. The H110 can laminate about 6 of material per minute. It s also very easy to use because there s a switch that allows you to choose either the hot or cold setting. This device warms up in 6 minutes and a light will go on when it s ready to laminate. Two rollers ensure that your items will be beautifully laminated.

4. The Royal Sovereign ES 410. This is another laminator with a 4 inch throat. Like the H110, the ES 410 has two rollers for superior results and it s compatible with 3 and 5 mil pouches. This laminator has both hot and cold settings, and to control the temperature, all you need to do is press a button. The ES 410 warms up in about 6 minutes and it will laminate a 6 inch document in 60 seconds

All four of these small laminators will provide you with ways of creating professional looking documents that will last for a long time. These devices are all high quality, affordable, and they re also compact, so you won t need to make a lot of room for one in your office. Consider getting one of these great machines today so you can create your own laminated documents!
