You probably played the bean bag game when you were a kid. Most people did play it in their physical education classes in elementary school. Then, as they got older, a lot of them forgot about it. Some of them didn t, and the sport of bean bag tossing continued on. Some people call it the bean bag toss instead of the bean bag game, but it s the same game. Some people also call it the Cornhole game, but there are a few arguments about whether that game is really the same. People who play the bean bag game say that the board used for the Cornhole game is a different size and that some of the rules for the game are just a little bit different. Other people don t agree with that of course, and that means that there are a lot of friendly arguments about the nature of the sport. For people who just like to play the game, however, there are no real problems with it no matter what it s called. It s just a sport to be enjoyed with friends and family members so that everyone can participate and have a good time.
For people who aren t familiar with the game, it s played by tossing lightweight, cloth bags at a hole in a game board. If the bags go through the hole, they are worth points. If they land on the board and stay there but don t go into the hole they are also worth points, but not as many. Bags that don t stay on the board or that never hit the board at all are not worth any points. The great thing about this game is that anyone can play it. The instructions are very easy to follow and the game itself is not complicated. Young children can play it, as can elderly relatives who might not be capable of playing a game where there s a lot of physical exertion. Games like badminton, horseshoes, Frisbee, and others are a lot of fun when you re young and agile, but as you get older you often want to play games that are not as physically demanding. This is also true of very young children, because they can t really play games that are complex and difficult. It s easier for them to play simple games, and when a simple game is found that s fun for adults and children, it s difficult to pass that up.
You can play the bean bag game with your friends, your family members, or a group or club that likes to play the bean bag toss. Sometimes clubs and organizations will add the game to their meetings, or they will set up times and places where their members can play this and other games. There are also clubs and organizations devoted solely to the bean bag game, and it s big business in many parts of the country. Not to mention it s just a whole lot of fun. Really, that s the most important thing that anyone could say about the bean bag game.
